Celebration

Since thoughts and words fall short in doing justice to the mystery of ‘God’, we have – fortunately – another way in which we can express our relationship: celebration.

Human celebrations – music, dance, poetry, art, drama, ritual and worship – can express what human words fail to do. In celebration we can grasp ‘God’ in ways not possible in words. This is what this chapter is all about.
